Following the opening round of the season, Nitro Motorsports now turns its focus to the technical and demanding Sonoma circuit, where precision and consistency are key to success. Jay Thomas will once again pilot the team’s Toyota GR86 as he looks to deliver a strong performance in the second event of the year.
“Sonoma is a track that really rewards patience and precision, so it is going to be important for us to stay focused and make the most of every session,” explained Thomas. “The team has been working hard to prepare for this weekend, and we are looking forward to building on what we learned in the first round and putting together two strong races.”

The race weekend will begin on Thursday with official testing, allowing teams valuable track time to fine tune car setup. Friday will feature two practice sessions ahead of Saturday’s schedule, which includes Qualifying One and Race One. The event will conclude on Sunday with Qualifying Two followed by Race Two, completing the doubleheader format.
