Nitro Motorsports continued their 2025 Toyota GR Cup North America campaign this past weekend with a four-driver lineup at the legendary Sebring International Raceway. Competing in rounds five and six of the championship, the team fielded Ethan Ayars, Ethan Tovo, Jackson Tovo, and Paityn MaryJane – all showing promise and performance across the two-day event.

Leading the Nitro charge was Ethan Ayars, who delivered a pair of impressive fifth-place finishes, marking the team’s best results of the weekend. His consistency and race craft at the challenging Florida circuit continue to position him as a front-running driver in the competitive GR Cup field.

Also making headlines was Paityn MaryJane, who once again proved to be a standout in the paddock. Earning Highest Finishing Female honors in both races, Paityn MaryJane walked away with a combined $10,000 in prize money for her efforts. Her Saturday performance saw her charge forward from 21st on the grid to finish 15th, while an early-race incident on Sunday didn’t stop her from claiming top female honors once again.

Ethan Tovo showed flashes of brilliance, particularly in Friday’s second practice session, where he clocked the third-fastest lap overall. He followed that up with one of his best races of the season, finishing 11th on Saturday and proving his continued growth in the series.

Twin brother Jackson Tovo demonstrated steady improvement during the first race of the weekend, moving forward through the field before an unfortunate on-track incident forced him to retire early. Despite the setback, his speed and determination were evident throughout the weekend.

“Sebring is always a challenge, but the team showed real progress and resilience,” explained Nitro Motorsports Team Owner Nick Tucker. “Double top-five finishes for Ayars, continued accolades for Paityn MaryJane, and strong moments for both Tovo brothers – we’ll build on this and come back stronger at our next event.”

Next up, Nitro Motorsports will head to VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) July 16–18 for rounds seven and eight of the Toyota GR Cup North America season.
