Showing the effects of their newly formed alliance, current Copeland Motorsports Toyota GR Cup North America driver Mia Lovell will join Nitro Motorsports’ Trans Am TA2 efforts in 2025. Taking part in the full 2025 Trans Am Western Championship presented by Pirelli, Lovell will also see action in select National Championship races as she begins to broaden her motorsports horizon.

“It’s great to already have our first driver confirmed and announced for 2025,” explained Nitro Motorsports’ Nick Tucker. “The alliance with Copeland Motorsports is beginning to show its true value as we have been able to help one another in the GR Cup Series, and now we have helped advance a driver to a new program with a bigger and faster car.”

Tucker continued, “Mia has been a threat each race weekend this season and has claimed countless Highest Finishing Female awards in the GR Cup Series. She is feisty, which will help her in the bigger Trans Am car.”

With an off-season test program still being put together, Lovell will make her series debut in 2025. Focusing on the Western Championship, Mia will get up to speed early, before taking part in select National Championship events.

“We have had a ton of success this year in the Trans Am program, having multiple different drivers on the podium throughout the season,” added Tucker. “We aim to continue that success in 2025, and look to help Mia achieve all of her goals.”
